John Bull Chophouse is a 500-year-old iconic listed building. Situated on one of Wigan’s conservation areas on a cobbled street, we are a historic building with a lot of character.

We pride ourselves on the cask and craft ale options within the chophouse, having 22 draught beers including 9 cask ales, 5 ciders and 8 craft beers. To the upstairs of the chophouse, we have our very own dedicated craft beer bar The Hop, where we have a large variety of quirky craft ales at your fingertips!

When you step into the chophouse, you will be instantly taken into the land of rock. On Sunday’s, we are known for our live bands and the rest of the week our jukebox transforms the Chophouse into a lively pub for all.

So, whether it’s for a pint in The Hop or to rock out to some classic rock, we look forward to seeing you and make sure to have your air guitars at the ready!
